Alyssa is a piano performance major at Grand Valley State University. She is currently working through the piano pedagogy program at GVSU and is excited to share all that she has learned with her students. Alyssa teaches piano, collaborates with soloists and ensembles, and plays for events in the West Michigan area. As a classically trained musician, Alyssa enjoys performing and teaching classical music, but is also a lover of jazz. Alyssa's goal in teaching piano lessons is to enrich the lives of the students she teaches. The history of music is so rich. Her hope to help her students to cultivate an appreciation for the music of the past and to develop a desire to create beautiful music of their own.
